Claude reset FAQ
When does Claude reset?
Pro and Max plans have 5-hour and weekly usage windows that roll continuously. Separately, Anthropic sometimes resets everyone's limits at once — typically alongside a model launch or after fixing a usage bug. This page lists those announced resets.
Are Claude resets for all plans?
Not always. Some resets applied to everyone, some only to Max, some only to users hit by a specific bug. The 'Who' column reflects what the announcement said.
Why are some rows missing a link?
Older rows were imported from public archives that recorded the date and the announcing account but not the post URL. Rows detected live by our tracker always link to the post.
How often does Claude reset limits?
Less often than Codex so far. Check the 'typical gap' and 'last 30 days' figures above rather than assuming a schedule — Anthropic has never promised one.
